What is credit repair?
Credit repair is a service provided to consumers under the CROA act. It allows credit repair service providers to help consumers in the correction of items on their consumer credit reports that prove to be inaccurate, outdated or unverifiable. Any credit repair agency claiming to be able to remove ANY and EVERY item other than those identified above is in violation of the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA).
Is credit repair legal?
Yes. It is your right under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) to dispute any inaccurate and not verifiable items on your credit report.

How soon should I start to see results?
Upon signing up online or with one of our credit specialist, OpenSky Credit should have your first round of work sent and processed within five business days from your start date. Credit Bureaus have 30-45 days by law to process all paperwork submitted. Initial results should reflect in about 30-60 days from the start date for each credit bureau. This results process is ongoing as long as you are in the program or receive the results you are looking for. You can cancel anytime you are satisfied with your results.
What's the cost to repair my credit?
There is a one-time Credit Audit/First Month work fee and a recurring monthly fee on a pay as you go, no time contract or commitment required bases. Will one person be assigned to me?
There will be a team working on your case (usually two to three), and generally we have all of our clients supported by our entire team. However, if you want one person we can accommodate that as well. It's your choice. In your customer’s portal, you are able to communicate with your case advisors directly. How long does it take?
Our goal is to improve both your credit reports and credit scores in a short time frame. The Duration of our program depends on the number of items on your report that need to be worked on, results you are looking for and response time from credit bureaus and/or creditors. OpenSky Credit Programs are all pay as you go, no obligation. If you are happy with the results you get in 3 months or if you get the extra points you needed to qualify… you are more than welcome to cancel. Can bad credit be legally repaired?
Since you are responsible for making sure that your credit report is accurate, the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) law was enacted to assist you. The FCRA gives you the right to contact the credit bureaus directly to dispute items on your credit reports. You are able to dispute any and all accounts that are inaccurate, misleading, untimely, biased, incomplete or unverifiable. If there is an item that cannot be verified on your credit report, then it must be deleted
Goodwill Creditor Communication may also be used to address an item on your credit report directly with your creditor. Also, if you were a victim of identity theft, the law Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA) can be used to help resolve those accounts. Do you charge any upfront fees?
We do not. You will only be charged for the credit repair, after work has been done.
Do I have to do any work?
Yes. During the time you are in our program, your job is to make sure that payments on open accounts are done on time, and the balance on your open credit cards must be kept under 30% of your available credit limit. If you are advised to open new lines of credit by a OpenSky Credit advisor, we ask that you do so within 20 days. Please don't apply for new credit unless it has been advised by a OpenSky Credit advisor. Finally, make sure you send us all communication you received by mail or email from your creditors and credit bureaus within 5 days of receiving the notification in order for us to review the documents.
